odd request: battery case

I have an old (circa 2002) Humminbird hand-held VHF radio, model VHF5. The radio still works well . However, the battery case has obviously become corroded which keeps the 4 AA batteries from powering the unit. Humminbird doesn't make the radio anymore and doesn't have any replacement battery case.

Does anyone have such a battery case with an unuseable Humminbird? Of course, I only want the small battery case, for which I'll pay for plus shipping?

take a pencil eraser or a typing eraser and clean the corrosion out and try it again
