Hi all, joined the forum in Aug. but this my 1st post. Am preparing to ship my boat south and need to remove mast. At bottom of mast in the bilge sump the mast is pop-riveted to an inside plate 5 on each side. Is this THE place ? What should I expect and do I need to identify connections? At top of mast there are 2 radio antennae, wind speed, wind direction, radar and nav. lights. Any precautions should I take prior to trucking?

All I know is that on my 34 there is a terminal block under the starboard settee just aft of the locker bulkhead and I think that there is another one under the wood panel on the floor of the head. I have never removed the mast yet.
