O'day22-Trailing weight?

Do anyone knows whats trailing weight of 1978 O'day

More than I thought!

I pulled mine (a '74) on a truck scales a few years ago and the axle weight turned out to be around 3200#. It was fully loaded...sails, motor, some gasoline, anchors, etc...and this includes the trailor, of course, but I was still surprised. It really pushes those little 10" tires to the limit.

Brochure specs

According to the 1978 O'Day Sales Brochure, the O'Day 22 minimum trailering weight is:2083#. Add to that the weight of the outboard and any additional gear that is aboard (including the anchor, chain, rode, other lines, fuel, tools, food, ice, etc).
