O'Day Video's - in action

Would it be possible to add this as a sticky... as long as the vids were hosted on another site for space- ie: flicker or someother?
I would love to see some other O'Days in action!

I've watched about every Oday 22 sailing YouTube I can find, I've seen yours and I recognize it by the brass instruments in the cabin, there is another with the picture of a lighthouse on the bulkhead, and some others out there too. I know they're nothing fancy but its the next best thing to being out there when I can't be.

I don't know the policy for sticky's but I do want you to keep posting new material when you can.

I wonder if there is a way to list all the YouTube videos that feature sailing, especially those featuring O'DAYs. I've found several dealing with Day Sailers, several MARINERs, at least a couple on an O'DAY 19........

I enjoyed every one of those film clips Kevin. You did an excellent job of fixing up "StarLyte" and she sails real sweet.
I've had my MA. Class A LTC for over twelve years now and never got around to buying a handgun. When I do finally break down and buy one, I'll join a local shooting club. It looks like a lot of fun. Thank you for sharing these Youtubes with us.

Thanks Joe, My Dad is a retired Deputy, in his 70's now. He's been away from the range for a long time. In the past few years we've been going every few mos or so, it's always a great little competition!, of course we both say to each other "that was OK, but watch this".....

It's great that you can get out with your Dad and do something together. Enjoy them while they're with us. All of my immediate family members are gone now including my only brother. I was happy to get my brother Bob to go sailing with me before he passed away with Cancer and although he really wasn't feeling all that great, he enjoyed himself that day when I took him out to the bay in Trinkka.
I've always had a love for firearms, boats, cars, motorcycles, and guitars. You name it and I had it. Today I have a vast amount of hobbies and interests that keep me preoccupied almost every minute. I wouldn't trade them for anything. It's been my secret to enjoying my retirement.

Like the vidoes, warspite2 is the guy with the lighthouse picture, Tropic Sprit is the boat. I believe he's harbored on the north shore of L. Pontchartrain whereas I'm on the south shore.

That SF one has some nice wind and waves going on, but I don't like his sail shape very much.
