I am contributing to the American Mariner Industries website and I heard a rumor. AMI went out of business in the early '80s and I heard that O'Day aquired the hull molds from AMI. AMI's hulls are unique in that they have a molded Shoal keel which increases the headroom in the cabin. AMI's lengths were for 20' to 30' (most popular was the 26') and were not produced after 1981-82. Reinell had these molds before AMI and were probably the maker. Here's the web site with pleny of pictures: http://www.AMIYachts.com Here's my boat with better pictures of the keel: http://www.arvonia.net/~arfon/keel If any one has any infomation on this, PLEASE e-mail me! Thanks, A
