Does anyone have a 3ft length of rub rail backer and rub rail they would like to sell me? Otherwise I will have to purchase 20ft/60ft from DR marine..... If I have to buy from DR, anybody want to buy 17ft/57ft from me?????

Thanks for the generous offer lance. Unfortunately my backer is white with black insert. Maybe it could be painted. They sell spray plastic paint these days.

Lance - need a few inches of that black rail backer if OK
I just read this post which hits home after having had a small 'incident' about a week ago. I was rafted up to a larger Catalina and a few large wakes caused our rub rails to crash up and down against each other. It pulled my white outer portion away from the boat. This was fixed fairly easily, but a piece of black backer rail that it goes into was broken off and went down to Davey Jones. If you have about 5 or 6 inches, I'd be most grateful and indebted.

They also sell it in 5' sections. Last fall I bought two 5' sections from DR to repair piling damage after the last Nor-easter that blew through Norfolk.

I bought two 5' rub rail sections from D&R in June...like you, I needed a little over 3' per side, and with the 5' sections, replaced the damaged area, as well as a good bit of the area on both sides too.

Hate to ask but I have been needing 4-5 feet of the white rail for years. Never thought to ask for some here. I would gladly pay the shipping if anyone still has some left overs. w
