Northern Northern 25 On the Hard, Bradford Ontario
Hi, I've been doing some research into what I thought was a Grampian, but with the awesome help of a Grampian owner I have been able to narrow this boat to a Northern 25, which I understand is based on the Outlaw. Is there some one out there with a Northern 25, that could clarify and identify that this boat is a Northern? I've not signed a purchase agreement, so the Inventory will list the hull number, I hope, and upon a good survey, she is sold.

Doesn't look like an Outlaw

My uncle bought the Outlaw that was listed on this sight about a year and a half ago. The boat had been move from FL and commisioned at our marina, went up for sale and I hooked my uncle with the owner. The Outlaw has full keel and a compartment that contains the outboard so that it is enclosed . The profile of the cabintop looks to be higher on this boat than on the Outlaw and the cockpit seems to be shorter. Remember the Outlaw has a deck-stepped mast and an arch in the cabin that supports it rather than it being supported by a compression post. good luck

No it don't

The Northern is based on the O'Day Outlaw. The Northern Yacht company bought the O'Day moulds here in Canada. The Northern was shortened by a foot and made a foot wider, and given a fixed keel.
