I recently purchased a 1972 O'Day Javelin that was sitting in a marina for about 10 years. The owner of the marina said he had a mast and sail, but did not know anything about it. I purchased the boat, and have since discovered that the mast and sail are not the correct ones. Does anyone know where I could find a mast and sail? I also need a rudder. Any help would be much appreciated!! Thanks!

Check with Rudy at D&R Marine. http://www.drmarine.com/ He has all the parts for O'Days plus the knowledge. The spars for that boat may have been supplied by Dwyer and the sails could have been Neil Pride, I'm not sure. Rudy can get you what you need.

The rudder for the JAVELIN is the same as the DAY SAILER, the boom is same as DAY SAILER too!
