I've acquired a seriously neglected 28' powerboat reported to have been built by Oday in early days. If anyone knows anyting about the boat or where I can find information, I would sure appreciate knowing. Thanks in advance Jim Pope

Was not aware that O'day ever built a powerboat. I know the group that designed alot of O'days designed pwerboats as well. The C. Raymond Hunt Associates Design Group....

Even more curious

The builder's plate down in the boat's cabin states: Built by Marscot Plastics, Fall River, Mass for G.D. O'Day Associates, Inc., Boston. Hull# 1658 Class# 62359 It is believed by a previous owner that O'Day acquired Marscot early on. The mold etc. was there so a few boats were made and sold. Shortly afterwords apparently O'Day decided to go all sail and the rest, as they say, is history. Any further info would be very helpful. Jim Pope
