Oday emblems

Hey all, a coworker here does woodworking as a hobby with a cnc machine and long story short, he made me these two replacement emblems, i paid him $40.00, he might make more if any of you are interested...let me know, i plan to varnish these i guess.

Well i have an 83, oday 28 and here is a pic of where the emblems are, the one in the pic was removed and i cleaned and had a dumb idea to go to a local shop try to paint and powdercoat them and they melted them so thats why i was looking to have replacements made...

I bought two also. They really are nice. I varnished mine and put them on my 272.

I also had some emblems made out of wood and coated them with Cetol.

Can you tell me the dimensions of the emblems??
and the thickness,,,,

we already have the 25th Anniversary logo on the rear sides of the cabin top -
but was thinking a bit more UN-conventionally, for a change!!!

I bought a set and would estimate the thickness to be a 1/4 inch. The longest point about 3 inches.

Would go for those if I still had the O'Day. Those look great and would add some nice character.

for all of us the have OD 28's,,, what is on top of your rudder post, where the emergency tiller would be installed,,,
we have a circular piece of generic wood, varnished, and about 3/8" -1/2" thick, and man,, after a long sit, even with a cushion on top if it, well, you get the idea,,
so why not use the logo for that emergency tiller cap????
even if it's a bit small, I can attached to a thin, larger, circular (or not) piece if teak, or similar,,,
just thinking out loud,,,
