I just recently inherited an O'Day Daysailer and have questions about how to rig it. It was purchased in 1970, and I heard somewhere that there are a couple different makes of the daysailer. Is that true? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hey! I have a question too...

I have some questions as well. I also recently had one given to me. I think she measures out at about 15 ft. with a very small little cabin type area forward of the centerboard, which swings up in shallow water. About all you can fit in the little cabin is a small cooler, life jackets etc. Lets get together via email and see what we can find out. If your boat is similiar to mine I can rig it and likely walk you through it. My address is tcd02@garnet.acns.fsu.edu

Jennifer (and Tom) As you learn your boats and have specific questions, send them this way. Several people on this board, myself included, have owned daysailers. For a great history of the boat and for an excellent rigging guide, hit the link below to see the Daysailer class assocation web page. Justin - O'day Owners' Web
