Doing a refit (yes, I am nuts) and need to replace the rubrail - can anyone tell me if they know of a replacment product and where I can purchase? If anyone is interested, I have some pics of work to date (redid the decks, just putting it back togeather now - starting with stainless ports!

D&R marine is 'the' source of both Oday & Pearson parts. D&R bought out of most of the remaining parts stock of ODay and Pearson. D&R has many of the hard to find parts for both of these manufacturers who collapsed during our un-enlightened governments pursuit of enforced egalitarianism through the then 'boat luxury tax'.

Options other than OEM?

Thanks – to be honest, I’m not nuts about the look of the original rubrail and was hoping to go with something more streamlined and possibly with a stainless insert (as opposed to black rubber. Is anyone aware of other rubrails that “fit” the deck haul joint for the ODay 37? - Thanks

Not surprisingly, "rubrails.com" had a variety of rubrails available. They didn't have OEM that matched our Catalina track when I replaced our rubber insert (gray instead of the old beige). A sharp rubber spatula proved to be the best tool for locking the new rubber rail into the old track. I dont recall what the O'Day rubrail looked like but you might be able to insert new vinyl/rubber into the existing track. Cheers.
