On our 1983 34, the domestic water pump is in the "L" of the port settee. There appears to be a very small limber hold in the lowest portion of this "L" area, but it is not draining. I poked a wire through it, but it still doesn't drain. I am wondering if it is in fact a limber hole? I don't see any holes in the areas of the bilge that are exposed when I remove the cabin sole boards, so I am thinking they must be under the stringer sections? I'd like to enlarge the hole so it will actually drain, but don't want to go drilling holes into areas where I don't know for sure what is there. Anyone dealt with this on a 34? Also wondering what folks have done for cleaning the area between the hull liner and the hull - the areas I can see through access holes look pretty grungy.

On my 32 starboard side I removed all the bins under the seat cushions, removed the stove and was able to see an area under the fuel tank, ice box and aft sink area that had not seen daylight since the boat was built, and the crap that was left there by Oday was criminal but after a shop vac and pressure washing it was looking and smelling clean then I did the same on the port side a few years later when I replaced the water and holding tanks cause the only way to that area was under those tanks.
Theres not an inch on my boat that has not seen the shop vac or pressure washer and cleaned up a mess left by others
