I just purchased an O'Day 30. The previous owner is unavailable to assist with any knowledge transfer (estate sale). A good amount of the runnign rigging is missing from the boat. Does anyone have a rigging diagram to assist me to understand how the boat was intended to be rigged? I think I have it figured out but just want to be sure. Thanks in advance.

There is a complete O'Day 30 manual in the downloads section of the resources tab (above). It includes running rigging specs. That might help.

Could I also get your input on how you open and close the seacock for your engine's raw water intake? It is so hard to reach it is not practical. I have thought about putting an access hatch in the cockpit sole but hate to do that given how small the cockpit is to begin with. I also hate to leave any seacocks open when away from the boat.

Do you have access through the quarter berth on the starboard side? That's how I get to mine on the 31. Otherwise it is hanging down into the port side lazerette. That would be okay if my arms were six inches longer.
