O'Day 30 Centerboard design

Hello List Members, Where can I find a diagram or pictures of the design or of the method used to secure the centerboard in the short keel of an 1978 O'Day 30? There seems to be a lot of "play" laterally in the keel. Are there shims or blocking of some kind to hold the pin more firmly in place? Thanks for any help you can offer, Phil

I have a 1978 32 centercockpit model with a centerboard and mine has the same play in it, it is held in place by a plastic pipe which is the pivot pin that is fastened by a piece of metal (I think they are metal)screwed to the port and starboard of the keel to hold the pivot pin in place, if you do a search in the archive's not to long ago a few of the guys were talking about the very same subject.I have looked at mine and figured out on my own how it comes down.
