Does anybod have any information on the O'Day 290? I would LOVE to see a picture or a brochure. I know that there were only 8 290s built before O'Day went under. There isn't even a forum on this website! That's how rare they are. ANY and ALL info. on them would be appreciated. You can post any pictures you might have in the picture forum. Thanks. -BM

Justin- Whos is Rudy Nickerson?? What is his number?? How can I contact him??? There are 2 places on the internet where I have seen inferences that there was a 290 made by O'Day. One is the "O'Day Owner's Unofficial Website" that can be found in the links section of Odayownwes.com, and the other was a guy that replied to someone who was looking for Other owners of O'Days made by pearson, here on this web site. The guy said that he owned a 1991 Pearson O'Day 290, and I only know that his name is Tim. The name of the article that "Tim" responded to was "PEARSON MADE O'DAYS". It can be found in the forum archives. No other info. about him is given.-BM

Go to www.odaysailboats.com/Boats.asp for some views of a 290. Whether or not the reissue will happen or not is anyones guess. I can't get the guy to send parts in a timely manner, I don't see how he's going to get complete boats out the door.
