iam looking to put a bigger wheel on my o'day 28 it now has a 28 inch edson anyone have any experence with a bigger wheel ? i so how big iam looking to put a 38 in edson on it !

is there room??
on my 28 there is only about 8-10 inches betweeen the wheel and the seat. With a bigger wheel, there is no easy way to go behind the wheel to get to the stern rail (to steer, to get on and off the swim ladder)

If I were take a guess without going down to measure I would say the same as you. I just can't see getting behind the wheel or to the transon without going over the cockpit seats (I don't think there's enough room as it is)
