....so at the end of last year I noted some movement of the tiller head at the top of the tiller tube. Anyone repair before? I am thinking:
1) dig hole in VERY frozen ground beneath rudder
2) drop rudder
3) push rudder back up, and dig DEEPER hole in still VERY frozen ground
4) remove rudder
5) measure and order bushings
6) return or adjust bushings
7) repeat 5-6 a few more times
8) Call it close enough for the season -or- submit it is unrepairable
Seriously though, if anyone has repaired and knows if it is typically a bushing, rudder tube glass repair, or ???
