My wife and I recently purchased a 1979 Oday 28. Does anyone know how we could acquire an owner's manual? Thanks, Bonnie & Guenther

If Rudy Nickerson at D & R Marine doesn't have one, email me at wlcoxe@hotmail.com with your address and I'll see if I can copy mine. I will tell you that most of the information is generic, and the list of dealers is somewhat out-of-date. Also, the best way to contact Rudy is by telephone. Manual

Guenther- I have an OD 28 with a fairly comprehensive "book" which I have created. It contains a very good engine manual for a Zephyr OMC saildrive and host of other pamphlets and manuals from accessory OEM suppliers. Some of the books are from when the boat was new and others are from when the options were added. As Bill alluded to the actual O'day manual is skimpy and quite generic. Most of the information can be found at this web site under the boat type section posted here. If you live in Michigan I can meet you and allow you to copy what I have. No way can I let the book out of my hands since the info is irreplaceable. Let me know if you want to get together. Good luck, Mike glover96@comcast.net
