I recently ran across an Oday 272 wing keel (1986 or 87) that caught my attention and I am looking for opinions from former or current owners - good and bad
kicks in ... about 20 degrees as you start pointing better ... However you always seem to have to keep 15-20 degrees upwind no matter what the wind conditions seem to be . with a fin they say sail straight ... with the wing -- sail at 20 degrees.least that is what i found out last winter.Vic
Owner reviews on this site.I haven't noticed anything terribly different between my last boat (fin keel) and my 272LE. I point great and power up quickly. In addition to that, with shoal draft, I get to go where alot of people can't.Cheers,Bob
