I have a 272 and am interested in knowing how to set up the travler to match a 272LE. If anyone has a line controled travler or the LE could you please explain how it looks and where the hardware goes. If you could send a picture that would be perfect.

what's on your boat now? I have a 'regular' 27 and the traveler is mounted on the inside of the transom at the back of the cockpit and leads to aft of the boom with a 4:1 block set up. I like it sitting behind the tiller, as it's out of the way and easy to work when handling the tiller. You can pretty much place a traveler anywhere you'd like; aft - or middle of the cockpit, forward of the cockpit or along the cabin top. The only thing about having it aft, as mine, is that sometimes I'd like to have a boom vang (which I may add sometime soon).
