272 AC power
The 272 LE & 280 (similar boats) both have a 30 amp AC shore power system. Most marinas offer both 20 amp (standard duplex style receptacle found in homes) and 30 amp power (receptacle is round with plugs in circular configuration) I owned a 280, which was a 272 LE with a 12 hp Westerbeke diesel and an open cabin layout. She was very roomy and handled very well, draft was about 3’3” , keel was 3’ but the rudder was about 3’3” CR Hunt did a great job with the design and with the shallow draft sailed almost everywhere. You’ll be happy with either model.
