I need to consider either repairing or buying used sails for my 272 LE. Does anyone have the measurements for the Jib and Main? Can anyone recommend an Internet site to buy good, used sails?Mike

If you are after used sails there are several brokers,Bacon and Assoc. http://www.baconsails.com/Atlantic Sails- http://www.usedsails.com/Sails.com- http://www.sails.com/The Sail Warehouse- http://www.thesailwarehouse.com/home.htmlare just a few. Before you buy used also check with Cruising Direct (link below)and see what their prices will be. It may be close to good used sails. I have had luck buying new sails off of ebay.God Bless and good luck.
...is:www.cruisingdirect.comBy the way, Chuck Allen at CD is the guy to deal with. I purchased new sails from him and got a WHOPPER of a deal. They had the best prices by far of any other sail maker.Incidentally, the 272LE pictured on their website flying the chute is my old boat. Same picture is in Lats & Atts and other sailing mags.Below is a link to my website for my new boat, a Nonsuch 30 Classic. It's still under construction. I love the boat, but still have a soft spot in my heart for my 272LE.Cheers,Bob
