Just was curious to all other Oday 27 owners. I justbought my Oday 27 in Sept 2006 and am eager to get her sailing this summer of 2007. She's well equiped and is beckoning me every day to join her. But, I'm curious to know from other Oday 27 owners, of their opinions regarding this type of boat. What do you find as the pros and cons of this boat. Any problem spots to keep an eye out? Beyond the normal ones, such as chainplates, deck core issues to name a few. What about what you love most about the Oday 27. All feedback is warmly appreciated. hi, My boat is a 1976 Oday 27, sorry for not specifying that earlier. Olo - Great pics! Well if you sail down this way anytime, let me know! Nicely constructed drawers where the vanity was! The prop isn't a folding one and the fuel tank is mounted behind the engine, near the rudder post. I have tons of pics, more to come when spring comes! Mark

I just bought our boat last summer. It only needed a bit of cosmetic work which I"m still working on, but the only problem area is a leaking stuffing box that I'm addressing at the moment. One interesting point is that I've looked at quite a few pictures of ODays here at the site, some within this size range have a boomvang and some, like mine, don't. I'm not sure what that's all about. Maybe someone can chime in on that subject.
