O'day 27 aux motor bracket recommendation.

Hello, I need some opinions in what brand/model bracket will be the more convenient for my 9.8hp 2 stroke nissan motor. I understand that some brands comes with a wedge or tilt adjustment included. Thank you

I have the Garelick for my 9.9 Yamaha on my 272. It works great. However, it did not lower the motor as much as the original. I lowered the bracket, and it is fine now.
The Garhauer might be better?
I use a wedge.

The Garhauer is available from Catalina Direct. There are 2, 3, and 4 spring models, depending on engine weight. I don't think it has adjustment to accommodate the reverse counter transom, so you would still need a wedge. I know of one boat manufacturer who thinks that the Garhauer is a much better, easier to use mount than the Garelick, and is currently spec'ing them on their boats. http://catalinadirect.com/index.cfm/product/691/outboard-motor-mount-three-spring.cfm
