Oday 26 Block and Line on front of Mast

Can anyone tell me what this might be used for? It is a line that goes up the front of the mast to a block. See pictures attached.

I have another sail in a bag. Could this be used for an inner forestay to hank on a smaller jib? I have a Furled 100S Furler that is in place now.

I think there is a pad eye behind the forward chainplate on the deck about 2 feet from fuller.

topping lift for your spin pole. The padeye is for the downhaul.

awesome...thanks...I don't have a spinnaker though. Maybe next year.
