On my 1980 I have a single line (rope) coming into the cockpit and to a cleat. The line attaches to the centerboard via a shackle.
With the CB only weighing 62 lbs, it is pretty easy to pull up.
Pretty sure that all 25's with the line coming into the cockpit are set up this way. Some older ones had a winch in the cabin.

This must be that "Italian" O'DAY 25? Pretty strange setup for CB control. I guess that also kills our earlier theory that the Italy-built O'DAY 25 had a fin-keel.

Not sure why this comes up under "Catalina owners", but...

Anyway, here are a few pics of how the US built boats were rigged. Can any 25 owners correct my drawing of the pipe route, sems funny it would go through the ice box?
I didn't show the original 1975 setup, with the pipe under the table in the cabin.

yep Sunbird, right through the bottom of the ice box. Actually, the bottom has a raised hump to give the pipe the room it needs to stay on that angle. You don't see the pipe, just a raised hump that separates the bottom of the box. Kind of like the raised hump for a swing keel.
I think your drawing is pretty close to my 25 but there is just a thru hull where the pendant exits into the cockpit. No block as noted in the drawing.

Hard to figure out how the CB cable is run on Julu44's 25. In the photo of the outboard it looks like the cable comes out of the transom, then somehow runs into the starboard lazarette? Is there a pulley system that runs the cable from above the CB into the bilge, then aft and under the cockpit to the transom, then up and out into the cockpit?

Julu44,
If that is the path of the cable, can it be changed out with one of the high tech ropes like Dyneema? Then put a cleat near the outboard so the CB rope comes out the transom and is cleated off?
Or maybe a block can be placed under the cockpit to lead the line up into the cockpit near the bridge deck as in Sunbird's first photo? Then to a cleat?

Hope you are having fun with your O'day25.
