I didn't find anything searching so.....
Help! I was trying to clean up my boat today and commenced field day. My job was to scrub out the port and starboard setees which looked like it had dirt grime and nails from the construction in 1983. Thinking these drained to the glassed in bilge in the top of the centerboard, I didn't think anything of it and started scrubbing with a buck and scrub brush. In the forward portion there is a drain hole pointed toward the centerline of the boat.

What I can tell you is that it doesn't go into the bilge along the centerline but appears to go under that. It looks almost like it drains into the wet centerboard area, but that doesn't make sense allowing a path for water to get into the people tank.
Anyone know where it goes? I don't want to do a bunch of cleaning and the nasty water go into some space that will mold and smell nasty.
