O'day 25 or 26

I hate to compare boats, but I need to find the advantages/disadvatages of the O'day 25 and 26. The 26 was only made for a few years the 25 over many years. I Realize that almost 1 ft buys alot of space below, but what are the practical and sailing characteristics of both? What are the towable weight differences? Head room? Thanks for any advise and replies.

Almost the same boat

In reality, the O'Day 26 is just a slightly "restyled" O'Day 25. The Galley is slightly different, the stove is moved "around the corner" from the athwartships galley to the side of the hull. The galley is shortened and a real ladder is used for the caompanionway. The shape of the cabin trunk is also restyled.Basic dimensions are below:O'Day 25 (K/CB)LOA: 24'10" LWL: 21' Beam: 8'Draft: 2'3"/6'0" sail area: 270 sqftDisplacement: 4007# Ballast: 1775#O'Day 26 (K/CB)LOA: 25'8.5" LWL: 21'7" Beam: 8'Draft: 2'6"/6'0" Sail Area: 278 sqftDisplacement: 4,800# Ballast: 1,850#Either boat was offered as a deep-Fin keel model as well, with a 4'6" draft, and a 2' taller mast than the K/CB model. This gave the keel models more sail area as well. Mast height for the K/CB models was 33'8" above the waterline, Keel models were 35'8" above waterline.

I've sailed both. I prefer the 26 as it doesn't feel as tender as the 25 to me.
