I need to replace the halyards on my boat and I do not have access to their lengths right now. I know that the jib and main halyard rope is 5/16" but I need the length overall dimensions. I have my halyards routed back to the cockpit so I am having a hard time finding this information posted. What do other people use? Also I am going to just use a 5/16 piece of rope for my topping lift. What should I use for a length with my topping lift?

Thanks for the help

get them right here

I ordered mine right here on this site. Type in your boat information and the way you run your halyards, the shakel and any other special request. I got mine last season they fit perfectly, were fairly priced and we are very happy with them and the service.

I've got my lines led back to the cockpit. The stock lines were about 60'. I think I added 10'.

Is your 25 a K/CB or a Fin-keel?

Main Halyard (rope) 5/16” x 59’ (K/CB)
5/16” x 64’ (Keel)

Jib Halyard (rope) 5/16” x 60’4” (K/CB)
5/16” x 63’4” (Keel)

The above are the O'DAY specs (does not include extra to run halyards back to cockpit)

And for the topping lift:
Topping Lift (rope) ¼” x 31’ (K/CB)
¼” x 33’ (Keel)

So where does information like the above come from?

It just might come from Capt Herring, Commodore of this web site, see:

http://oday.sailboatowners.com/inde...id=257&cat_id=127&aid=7702&page=article&mn=25

Why is the page blurred? Because we never came up with an original copy. It was a copy of copy, posted as a reply to similar question.

So, if anyone has original, I know Capt Herring would be happy to update post.

Maybe if the new guys studied the archives and modification pages? Instead of asking to be spoon feed?
