I have a 1975 ODAY 25 CB, the cable comes up through a 3ft pipe in the center of the cabin floor. Do all 25 CB do this, i have seen some pics and i cant see the pipe. Is there a conversion option so i dont have a pipe in the middle of the cabin.
I have a '78 25 - and it too has a pipe - seems to be a PCV pipe that is heavily fiberglassed where it meets the top of the keel -I have had problems with the pipe weeping - this has led to the wood below the pipe (below the sink - next to the small door that allows access to the area below the sink)to become soft - thus leaving me with a future project of replacing the teek plywood -While we are looking at this are - the thru-hull has also concerned me - I asked my overpriced marina guys to maintain the seacock - or replace it - and they replaced it with a cheap standard brass plumbing fitting - it is an accident waiting to happen.I feel your pain - but I don't see a way to bring the centerboard line up to the cockpit - Good luck -
