Hello everyone, Wanted to share with those here who own Oday 23, that i've begun tinkering with my personal website about it. Still MUCH to do on it, but I've gained emails from Rudy at D&R Marine and other Oday 23 owners with interest in seeing more Oday 23 stuff online. it's at http://netnet.net/~reiland/ I'm going to be adding much, guestbook, rehab/modifications section, along with hopefully......hopefully a breakdown of the boat, with topics on each area. I'm new to the 23 myself, but would love to have something interactive 'n useful for us 23 owners. it'll be slow in steps, but if any Oday 23 owner is interested, stop by and let me know. Great site and nice 23! I wish mine looked that good when I got her. If you want to talk project 23, you name it and I'll probably have to do it. Just hoping to get mine on the water this sping (It will be close but I'm still hoping). Good luck and great sailing.

I am also new to O'Day 23's. Actually, this is my first boat, and I think it has been a great one to learn on. Here is a link to a site that I had been putting together for this one. I plan on updating it along too. Maybe new pages for each year. Thom, Thanks for your input. I've made some new changes and uploaded new things to the O'Day 23 site I have. It's been gaining alot of interest and hopefully, I'll have alot more on there. Hey, I went to your site, it opened, but when I tried to open the pages of the boat and the lakes etc that you have, it said page not found??? *hmm* I'm really looking forward to seeing your site. Hey Mark, I really like your pop-up camper/boat. I didn't realize until I saw the brochure on your website that the mast rests on the cabin floor and the top slides up and down around it. Can't wait to see pictures of it in action. Happy sails *_/), MArk

Mark, Just curious, do you plan to step and unstep your mast, are you going to use a trailor? I'm trying to figure out the best way to step my mast while trailering mine. BTW, I am repairing my cabin top as we speak. Man what a chore, but I know it will be twice as reliable as it was. Next will be the soft spot on the bow. Chuck

Chuck, I'm intending on stepping and unstepping my mast as few times as possible. I don't have a trailer for my boat, only the original O'Day 23 wooden cradle, i'm not too worried about trailering issues just yet. You can step the mast while your boat is on a trailer, it is possible if you've got about 4 friends to help ya. Or have the marina crane get it hoisted up. I'll be stepping my mast once and hopefully only once this year. my boat is involved in a 2 yr refitting, so she won't be on the water JUST yet. Mark
