I have an Oday 23 1980 model. I don't have an enclosed head like some mention on this thread. My wife would love that. Does anyone have any info or pics of the head on their 23? Thanks!

I have not heard of a completely enclosed head on the 23. Mine is an 80 and the head is just on the forward side of the bulkhead, port side. What makes it "enclosed" is a door that folds shut in the opening. Do you not have the door? I can take some pics of mine next time I'm at the boat.

Pics would be great. I have no door. What kind of head do you recommend. I just got $300 of boat money!

We just use a porta poti and we have a set of Bi-fold doors that enclose the head and v beth area. They sell some very nice porta poti on this site. Some day when my 30 year old poti fails I will purchase one of the ones they have here.

I just replaced the porti potti on our boat- installed a Sealand 974MSD "sani potti". This model can be pumped out, and your 23 should have the pumpout fitting on the deck near the chainplate. Next time I'm at the boat, I'll try to remember to snap a picture of the door. I imagine you could just put a curtain there.
