Finally putting our boat in the water for the first time. I realized I was missing the tack pin on the boom gooseneck attachment. Rudy at D&R is sending one out and says it is a press fit requiring the use of a vise. So, what is the proper attachment for fixing the tack of the main to this pin? I will leave the boom at home to press the pin in when it arrives but would like to sail this weekend and would require that "shackle" or whatever. Thanks in advance for your help. Bill

On my Oday 23, the tack pin simply slides through the cringle of the sail; a twist of the pin locks it into the other side of the goosneck fitting.
