Hello all, first post.
I've gone through the first 70 or so pages of threads on this forum and have learned more about this boat but still have questions.
I know the centerboard may get bound up in the keel but am very curious as to any other thoughts about the boat.
Common trouble spots?
Anyone know how long the dinette berth is when folded down?
Called Rudy who was kind enough to speak for a few minutes. He likes this boat a lot and says it is overbuilt (thicker mast than newer boats, etc.) He also likes the triple stays on both sides (which my current Mirage 5.5 also has).
Rudy's other comments: very solid, very seaworthy (given the boat size). I'm a lake sailor but solid is always good.
Eager for any and all comments or information about this boat. Have not yet had luck with searches on the forum so started reading page by page.
