I am New to sailing by about a month. Took my first lesson during thesea trial with white cap water and hericane warnings out. Frankly,I was scared to death. The instructor was experienced but I dont think he knew how inexperienced I was. So I am learning as I go.In less than a month I need to move my Oday 222 from Lake Lanier to home.I have a trailer that I bought when I bought the boat. My question is,How wide is the hull at the water line? I am hopeing to set this trailerup to haul the boat out without damaging the boat. It looks like I need tobe about 44" deep in the water when I have 14ft of trailer in the water. That will allow me to float the 222 which has 1ft 8inches of keel when retracted. I would like to do this right because when I get it on the trailer I have to take the mast down. Another First for me. I live about 100 miles from the lake where the boat is now so it is not easyto run back and forth. Doug
