O'Day 221

Can anyone tell me the draft of an O'Day 221 ?
Also I very green with sailboats, could anyone offer any advice on what to ask or look for when checking out a sailboat ?

did oday make a 221? i thought they only made a 222 model.

i would look closely at the deck for any soft areas, cracks etc as the balsa core decks can be a problem if water gets in a rotts the balsa wood. this can be a labor intensive problem to correct.

mast and standing rigging is expensive so look closely as well as for any damage to keel board/rudder. there are numerous sites with info on what to search for if you google it.

I think the boat I'm looking at must be the "22" because the beam matches up with the ad.

Could anyone please explain the letter designations in the spec box for me ?

Also the draft has 2 different #'s but I have a fixed keel, I don't understand that, please help...
