Has anybody had experience cleaning and making the portlight acrylic or whatever plastic was used, to be able to see through it again? Mine are pretty foggy probably due to the sun here in Florida.

If it's a surface film you could try one of those magic erasers with some mild soap. Or you could try that kit they sell to fix yellowed car headlights (which is probably the same thing!). If the sun has caused a chemical change in the plastic, replacement of the 'glass' may be the only option. Do you know if you can remove the 'glass' from the frame?

BTW, I have not looked real close, but I assumed my portlights were glass, not plastic...but I could be wrong.

Ken They are a coated acrylic plastic? The coating was deteriorated so following some of the directions on the Headlight restorer , I sanded the coating off with 800 grit followed by 1200 grit, then used the Meguiars Plasti-X polish and they came out real nice. I'm not sure exactly what kind of plastic they are, and the restorer says not for coated plastic, but I had no choice but to get rid of the coatong. Thanks for your input
