previous owner mounted a wooden block to the top of the cabin then mounted the mast step to that with some very small bolts and silicone caulking bulkheads are cut out and a wooden compression post is in place the cabin sole seems to be in good shape Iam wanting to know how to properly mount the mast step and compression post safley have sailed the boat like this for a season but it is not
