I have thought about stuff like that for my boat (oday 22) let me know how it works for you - this boat is what it is - not a big boat - I do not think that one could stand if a cover was under the boom - I feel that I need to move around alot when sailing --- I use an umbrella to get away from the sun and wish that I could get my wife more away from the sun -- hope that something works - hate to think that this would only work on a larger boat - reality - not my first choice but what I am stuck with (maybe a dodger but probably not a full cover) Algae
