O'Day 22 Cabin Reno; what can be done?

I need to add more room for sleeping on my 22, I have a family of 5. Does anyone out there have images of a successful cabin re-fit?
I am also need to know the maximum screw length that can be used when securing something to the cabin bulk head.

Increase berth on 22 o'day

I am in the mist of doing a refit on a O'Day 22.

On the port aft berth, I have extended to a length, close to eight foot. There are pictures on June 23, 2008 frame, though not done with that area as of yet. The foward of the same berth will be an exention of three feet.

Thread size for bulkhead

It depends on the threads itself. The best thing tp to take a paint stir and flush to the edge and mark. Go to Lowes or Home Depot and take the stir. Would suggest that get half the length needed in stainless, so it does not split the opposite side.
