O'day 20 rigging

Hello all,

I need to replace some shrouds on my oday. I was wondering what the breaking strength limit needs to be on the hardware on the boat. As of right now it just has turnbuckles from home depot on it. What should I do?

The 20 would have been rigged with 1/8" 1x19 stainless-steel wire rigging, that has a breaking strength of 2100#

D&R Marine sells shrouds all made up with the turnbuckles included. www.drmarine.com make sure that you indicate the model year of your boat since there were a few changes during the 1973-78 production run.
If your shrouds are OK, but yo uwant to replace the turnbuckles, a local rigging shop can provide new ones or go to WEST Marine (on-line or local store).
