Oday 20 moored
Hi,

This past summer my O'day 20 was on the Ohio River. At some point the centerboard broke in half and I need to find a new centerboard to replace it. I believe the length is 42" and the height is 11.5". Please let me know if you know of any places that I could purchase a new centerboard.

Thanks,

Drew Henderson

Oday Day Sailer Wareham, MA
D&R Marine in Assonet, MA www.drmarine.com sells new centerboards for the O'DAYs. Rudy Nickerson, the owner there is the former Parts Dept Manager from O'DAY and he now sells replacement parts for O'DAY Sailboats (as well as some Pearson and CAL models). A phone call will get good advice and answers (508) 644-3001
The price isn't cheap! $500+ but it may be easier than making a new one from scratch? I would give Rudy a call since the web-site seems to list the model year dates wrong for the O'DAY 20 centerboards, the 20 was built from1973 to 1978 and it is my understanding that the centerboard size was changed for the 1976 model year (same time rig was changed from masthead to fractional). The earlier CB was longer and narrower (fore & aft).
