Maybe you want to look for a used sail. Bacon sails (baconsails.com) is one place to look. I'm guessing that by new "factory" sails you mean from D&R Marine. I think their prices are actually very good, but you can't spend what you don't have. For new sails you could try a local sail loft, Sailnet (Air Force Sails), or Doyle from the sail loft here on OdayOwner's chandlery.
