Oceanis headliner panel removal?

I have sliding cleats to fix to the genoa track of my Oceanis 31, which unfortunately does not have mid-ship cleats. Installation is theoretically simple, by removing a track end stop and sliding on the cleat but when unscrewing the holding screw it just turns, suggesting there may be a nut to hold underneath the deck.
The headlining panels clearly have velcro all along the back edge but I am unsure how the front fixings work - whether they are plug fixings as used in cars or whether they are concealed screws.
I don’t want to damage the headliner just to access a back nut. Any pointers would be gratefully received before I mess up.

Probably velcro at the back and 'snap buttons' inboard, by the look of it. A gently pry should release them.

It’s a cap over a philips head screw. Some of them can be very difficult to remove. I am also afraid of damaging the soft covering on the panel, so I have always used just pried them off by hand with a tumbnail. Luckily, my nails have always been strong enough to do the job without damaging myself either.

Thanks very much - I suspected something like that. If anything I’d have tried levering down the front of the panel assuming they were plug fittings - glad I didn’t’! Many thanks, Les
