Anchor wash down: on my 423 I tapped into the water inlet for the head to eliminate the extra hole. Of course we sail in the Great Lakes so we're not concerned about salt.
To help knock off the mud/clay of the north channel I use a high pressure nozzle - the kind you'd use at home to clean driveways etc.
Captn TJ: Thinking of going that wa, big job and only use it when I am not concerned about water storage...which is most of the time over the next few years.
