Oceanis 45 New Owner - Hard to source parts

Hi everyone, not new to the forum but new to the Beneteau owners section. Recently purchased a 2013 Oceanis 45 that I'll be bringing from Miami to Annapolis next month.

The boat needs some minor repairs and although I haven't spent a ton of time trying to source factory parts needed, my initial searches have turned up very little. Hoping there might be some folks on here that have some experience and can lend a hand on where to find these parts.

Part Needed:
- Plastic cabin top vents/dorades - The Florida sun has broken the plastic down on the originals and they are cracked and extremely brittle.

- Push button cabinet latches - A couple are missing all together and a couple more don't function.

- Cabin Led light Strips - Several have dead sections and/or flicker. Yes I know I can replace them with strips off of Amazon and I already have several sets but the brightness and color temperature do not match.

- Salon Ceiling Mounted Round Recessed Lights - I have one that appears to not be working

- Hatch sliding sun shades - One is completely mangled and needs replacement

Thanks for the assistance, Mike

With to possible exception of the cabinet latches, the things you list are available third party in improved and / or less expensive sourcing. Sailboats are not like a car, the parts are sourced from individual vendors who are also available to you. As a new owner it will be your responsibility to know who and where those parts are procured. Take a picture of the weathered dorades and let’s see if someone here can’t ID them in about 1 hour. I’m betting that Dave in the site store can get them for you. Congrats on your new 45’ baby!

Thanks Gunni,

Was pretty used to the process of upgrading/modifying broken/outdated components on my older boats but for some reason I figured on a 2013 production boat I would just be able to bring up and online store and find common replacements. Should have known better. ;)

That's pretty much what the Beneteau Spare Parts site that Jackdaw linked does. But it's not necessarily the cheapest source so for the more common items looking elsewhere first works too.

When I looked for push-button drawer and cabinet-door closers, I had a devil of time. There are many versions sold on line. I ended up getting one from a friend who had gone through a similar exercise and had an extra. Naturally, it did not fit quite correctly the Bavaria, but at least it did fit the hole. I ended up moving the catch on the cabinet out some so the button would catch the latch and close (lock), etc. Thus, my first advice; repair the ones you have if possible. The fact that a couple are missing likely testifies to my point above. The previous owner perhaps couldn't find ones that fit either. Good luck. I'd love to know if Bene parts has some that I might use as well.

I have not had luck with replacement shades, either.

Not the problem here.

I have purchased several items for my 343 from the Beneteau spare parts site, that Jackdaw mentioned, including cabinet latches. So far, the Beneteau specific parts have been readily available from the site. If you can’t find a part on the site, call Ward or Debbie and they will help you.

Exactly. But if you do this, get the part number and then go place the order on-line. There is an automatic 10% discount for doing that vs a phone order.

... that site is exactly what I was looking for!
Mike, are you aware there is a Beneteau dealer in Annapolis on Back Creek? They have a little store downstairs for SOME parts, but not the entire parts site on line. Where will you berth?

Thanks Ron,
I am familiar with Annapolis Yacht Sales/Beneteau Dealer but wasn't aware they had a store onsite. I have a slip right there at the mouth of Back Creek at Horn Point Marina.
