for those with a drop down swim platform/transom - that area under the deck but ahead f the transom when down is always full of water. I have tried blasting it out with a high pressure hose and it just plugs again and back up to where I have 4 inches of sea water in there. Has anyone else seen this?

Mine goes in to dealer next week I will ask and will update this thread In the end I stuck a high pressure hose nozzle in there and it is now clear, however due to the design I expect it will clog again.
This past weekend I was looking in my starboard rear locker and in the very bottom left corner I found a sea clock that was not compleat lay opened ,I turned the leaver to open it up,so far no backup ill keep checking this comming weekend and ill post the results cross your fingers....
my 41 is at the dealer's service marina for warranty work. Asked about the transom box and they said it is a common issue on the 41 and 45's. According to the dealer the scupper is not straight out, it makes two turns and as a result can easily get plugged with even the smallest amount of dirt. It may require regular high pressure blast to clear. Simply bad design. He also confirmed there is a sea cock that needs to be opened.
As the majority of water running off the cockpit ends up in this transom box I will be adding a high pressure flush to my regular cleaning regime - once at the start and once at the end.
In short - it's not a good design.
