I have a 1996 Oceanis 321 and need to replace the lifelines. I'm running into issues finding the correct metric thread post that attaches to the aft end of the lifeline and it in-turn attaches to the imbedded female receptacle in the "gate pulpit". Has anyone had this experience? Do you know the proper dimensions/model number of that post, and where I might be able to obtain four of them?

Google should help. I tried boat lifelines and got many sources. Also try metric boat lifelines. Good luck.

Many Beneteaus have Hayn hardware aboard. Try hayn.com/marine/hardware you can actually view the catalog on line

I couldn't find the metric sizes when I replaced the lower life lines a few years ago despite several hours working the on-line sources that I could discover. I ended up using non-metric fittings available through the rigger I used to make up the lines. No one would ever notice, but you end up with a chimeric boat with respect to fittings.

Maybe everyone should get metric thread measurement gauges. Home Depot or wherever.
