ocean sailing in a hunter 22

i am going to buy a hunter 22 and would like to know how they do in open ocean conditions. im a west coast sailor and would like to be able to make ports such as astoria in the columbia river and san fransico. what do you other hunter 22 owners think of such voyages?

The Hunter 22 is for protected inshore waters. Trade it for a Cape Dory 22 if you want the same size with extended sailing capabilities.
